What You'll Experience
This is embodied work. You won’t leave with just new concepts to think about—you’ll leave with felt shifts in how your body responds to opportunity, visibility, and success.
Your nervous system learns to distinguish between current opportunity and old threat, so expansion stops triggering the same defense response
The tension you carry before big moments begins to soften as your body updates its sense of what's actually safe
Imposter feelings lose their grip because you're building a felt sense of belonging that isn't dependent on external validation
You develop capacity to rest, receive, and be visible without your system interpreting it as danger
Self-sabotaging behaviors - procrastination, perfectionism, self-dismissal - decrease as the underlying protective need is addressed
You create alignment between what you consciously want and what your nervous system will allow you to move toward
The exhausting cycle of proving, compensating, and over-functioning gives way to sustainable confidence and embodied self-worth
These Patterns Have a Logic
What looks like self-sabotage from the outside is actually your system doing exactly what it learned to do when success, visibility, or receiving once felt dangerous to your survival or belonging.
You Tense Up Before Opportunity
A promotion is offered. Recognition is coming. Visibility is increasing. And instead of excitement, your body responds with threat signals—tension, shallow breathing, the urge to escape. This isn’t irrational anxiety. Your nervous system remembers a time when being seen, succeeding, or outperforming others disrupted connection or safety. So it activates the same defense response it learned then.
Achievement Doesn't Feel Like Relief
You reach a goal and immediately dismiss it. You attribute success to timing, luck, or anything but your actual competence. This is imposter syndrome, yes—but it’s also a nervous system state. When your body learned that achievement was unstable or that being valued was conditional on performance, it couldn’t develop the felt sense of “I belong here.” So even when you objectively succeed, your system can’t register it as safety.
You're Always Compensating
You over-prepare. Over-deliver. Over-function. Not because you enjoy it, but because slowing down feels destabilizing. Your system learned that rest, boundaries, or “good enough” invited criticism or abandonment. So it stays mobilized, hypervigilant, productive—not from passion, but from an old blueprint that says “your worth depends on what you produce.”
You Can't Let Yourself Fully Want Things
There’s a gap between what you consciously desire and what your body will let you move toward. You might set a goal, then procrastinate. Dream about something, then talk yourself out of it. This isn’t lack of willpower—it’s that your nervous system learned that wanting and not receiving was too painful, or that expansion threatened the relationships you needed to survive. So it keeps your desires contained.
What Research Tells Us
Your Body Is Protecting You From What You Actually Want
Recent neuroscience research helps explain why these patterns persist even when you’re consciously aware of them.
Your Body Responds Before Your Mind Decides
Your nervous system constantly scans for cues of safety and threat—a process called neuroception. This happens unconsciously, outside your awareness, and triggers physiological responses before you have time to think about them. That’s why you can know intellectually that you’re safe to succeed or be seen, but your body still reacts as if you’re not.
Early Experiences Create Lasting Imprints
Research on attachment and developmental trauma shows that early relational experiences—how love was given, whether success was celebrated or created tension, if being “too much” led to rejection—get encoded in your body’s stress response patterns. These imprints shape how your nervous system interprets similar situations now, even decades later.
The Body Stores What the Mind Moves Past
Emotional experiences, especially overwhelming ones, aren’t just psychological memories—they’re held in your muscular tension, your breathing patterns, your gut responses. This is why you can understand your patterns cognitively and still feel stuck. The body remembers what the mind has rationalized away.
Manifestation Requires Nervous System Safety
You don’t attract what you consciously want—you attract what your nervous system believes is safe to receive. If expansion, visibility, or success once correlated with relational threat, your body will unconsciously resist them now, even when your conscious mind is ready. This explains the frustrating gap between intention and outcome.
The 4-Modality Psychosomatic Process
This workshop uses four evidence-based modalities that work together to address self-sabotage and imposter syndrome at their root—in the body and nervous system, not just the mind.
01
Transformational Breathwork
Conscious breathwork shifts your nervous system state in real-time and accesses emotions stored below conscious awareness. It releases the physiological charge of old stress responses and creates space for new patterns to emerge. This isn’t relaxation breathing—it’s an active process that metabolizes what talk therapy often can’t reach.
02
Trauma-Informed Inner Child Healing
We work directly with the parts of you that learned success was conditional, visibility was risky, or your worth depended on performance. This isn’t regression or re-traumatization—it’s providing your system with corrective experiences that update those early imprints. Your body learns, experientially, that being seen and valued can be safe.
03
Somatic Practices
Somatic work restores your nervous system’s ability to accurately sense when you’re actually safe, so it can stop defaulting to old threat responses. You learn to recognize the body’s signals in real-time and consciously support your system in returning to regulation. This builds your capacity to stay present during expansion instead of shutting down or mobilizing.
04
High-Performance Tools
True high performance doesn’t come from pushing through or compensating—it emerges when your nervous system feels safe enough to access creativity, clarity, and flow. We integrate practices that build sustainable achievement, self-worth that isn’t performance-based, and the capacity to hold both ambition and ease without collapse.
You will also receive 10 days of INTERGATION PRACTICES to help your nervous system absorb the shifts from the workshop and support lasting, embodied change.
